The AYSO National Games return to Southern California for 50th Anniversary and for the first time since the AYSO World Games in 1994, the National Games will have two host venues, Riverside and Torrance, Calif.

The 2014 National Games is expected to include over 500 teams for the week-long soccer tournament and festival. With no single venue large enough for the size of the event, two storied Southern California soccer cities were chosen to co-host.

The biennial AYSO National Games will be held June 29 – July 6, 2014, and they return to AYSO's roots as a centerpiece of the year-long golden anniversary celebration. AYSO is the first national American youth soccer organization to reach its 50th birthday.

Riverside will be a first-time host for the Games, but is well known for the Ab Brown Soccer Complex with 30 side-by-side soccer fields and the annual Locomotion Tournament that brings together over 200 teams every year.

Torrance previously hosted the National Games in 1990 and 1992, and is both the birthplace of AYSO and the home of the AYSO National Office. Torrance Mayor Frank Scotto is a long time AYSO volunteer and chaired the '94 World Games. The 2014 event will be held at multiple playing venues throughout the city.
