GENERAL QUESTIONS

What is a Section Meeting?

Section Meetings are annual gatherings of a Section and include a whole weekend of activities including training, certification and continuing education for coach, referee, and management volunteers. Section Meetings also include all the fun stuff…the sponsor and vendor show, networking opportunities, and volunteer recognition. Share ideas, stories and your love of soccer with other AYSO volunteers just like you!

How do I find information about my Section Meeting?

Visit the "Locations" section of this website to find your nearest Section Meeting. If you have any questions you can always contact events@ayso.org.

What is included in the registration fee?

The registration fee includes: access to all scheduled workshops (except Instructor Courses), Friday Reception (if offered), Saturday Breakfast, Saturday lunch & coffee breaks, Section Meeting goody bag and conference materials.

My Section Meeting is showing a separate venue and host hotel, is there transportation to and from each property?

Limited shuttle service is available for select Section Meetings. Detailed shuttle times will be sent out two weeks prior to your Section Meeting.

How do I register for the Section Meeting?

The easiest way to register for your Section Meeting is via eAYSO. Visit the registration page for a video tutorial on this process.--> You can also download manual registration forms and email them to events@ayso.org or fax them to (310) 525-1157 along with your method of payment.

I don't have an eAYSO account, can I still register?

Yes! Visit your Section Meeting page to download the manual registration form and email it to events@ayso.org or fax it in to (310) 525-1157.

What is a subsidized position?

Subsidized positions for the 2013 Section Meeting season are as follows:
National Board of Director
Section Director
Section Meeting Volunteer Coordinator
Area Director
Area Coach Administrator
Area Referee Administrator
Area Management Administrator

These above positions are subsidized for the early registration meeting fee, two nights in a shared hotel room, and approved travel costs. All subsidized volunteers need to register and book their hotel rooms via eAYSO prior to the early registration deadline for their Section Meeting or else they are responsible for the cost of both.

I'm an RC, can I sign up my entire board at one time?

Yes! As an RC you are able to register and pay for your entire board to attend a Section Meeting via eAYSO. Visit the registration page for a video tutorial on this process.

My Region is new and we'd love to get some additional training, however, we don't have the funds to attend our Section Meeting. Is financial assistance available?

Limited funds are available for new regions that wish to attend their Section Meeting but need financial assistance. To apply for financial assistance, please download the following forms and submit them at least 10 weeks prior to your Section Meeting.

What is the refund policy?

Refund requests need to be submitted in writing to events@ayso.org and must be received two weeks prior the registration end date. Refund requests after this date or on-site will not be accepted.

I'm having issues with eAYSO, what should I do?
